Mission Statement
The purpose of the State Forest Advisory Council is to assist the State Forest staff to maximize the recreational uses of the F. Gilbert Hills, Franklin and Wrentham State Forests. This is accomplished by having frequent meetings to exchange ideas and information. The public is always invited to attend these meetings.
Meetings: The next scheduled meeting will be on September 2, 2009 and might involve a walk at High Rock. Anyone interested should call ahead to confirm. The next and last meeting of the year will be November 4, 2009. All meetings start at 7 p.m. and the November meeting will be held at the Forest Headquarters.
